Dion's was founded in 1978 by a family with a simple belief: great food doesn't need to be complicated. Starting with a single location on 4th Street in Albuquerque, we built our menu around fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and portions that actually satisfy.

The First Door Opens

Dion's opens its very first location at 6308 4th St NW in Albuquerque. A family recipe, a hand-tossed dough, and a dream that New Mexico deserves better pizza.

Expanding the Family

After seven years of loyal customers and growing demand, Dion's opens its second Albuquerque location and introduces its signature sub sandwiches to the menu.

Best Pizza in NM Award

Dion's is voted "Best Pizza in New Mexico" by the Albuquerque Journal — an honor we'd go on to win multiple times. The secret? We never compromise on quality.

Delivery Goes Live

Dion's launches citywide delivery across Albuquerque, bringing our famous pizzas, subs, and salads straight to doors across the city for the first time.

Statewide Reach

With 8 locations now open across New Mexico — including Santa Fe and Rio Rancho — Dion's becomes a true statewide institution serving all corners of NM.

Marco founded Dion's in 1978 with a handwritten recipe and a borrowed oven. Today he still visits every location weekly and personally approves all new menu items.

Marco's daughter and a classically trained chef, Sofia oversees all recipe development and ingredient sourcing. She's the keeper of Dion's most-guarded secrets.
